History Of Northest Houston Wastewater Credits

During the late 1970’s the Director of Water for the City of Houston approached a select group of investors to help fund infrastructure development for the rapidly growing Houston area. Among those investors was Dr. Daniel McKinsey Hallson, who purchased 782,846 gallons of wastewater capacity in the Northwest Treatment Plant Area.  Dr. Hallson left this asset to his nephew, Don Hanna, the current owner.

The Wastewater Capacity Reservation numbers are 005329-001 and 012.  Documentation of all previous sale transactions and confirmation from the City of Houston are available.

The Wastewater Capacity Units are available for new development, expansion, and renovation anywhere in the Northwest Treatment Plant Area (map included).

To date, all transactions have been transferred easily using the Houston Law Firm, Schwartz, Page and Harding LLC.  Transaction and legal expenses are paid by the Seller, Mr. Hanna, who is authorized to sell the units at the city’s price or sell them for less, which is the advantage of buying privately-owned wastewater capacity.

The process is simple, and the buyer receives substantial savings.
